Children’s Ministry
For the month of October, each weekly Sunday school Bible story will have lessons, videos, and activities that coordinate for all children in grades PreK-6. Your household is invited to watch and participate in any and all that work for you. On Saturday mornings, you are invited to gather together via Zoom at 11 AM to review the Bible story of the week, share any art projects you have made, and visit online with classmates and teachers. The themes for this month are honoring differences and celebrating diversity in its many forms. At the end of the month, children are invited to participate in Holy Family’s first Trunk or Treat event on October 30th.
Youth Group
As the theme for All God’s Children continues, the youth group will focus on Diversity & Differences in October. Discussions will be rooted in Jesus’s acceptance and affirmation of ALL people – especially those that society deemed “lesser”. Several resources and links can be found below. Zoom gatherings will continue this month, but will move to 1 PM on Sundays. This month’s in-person gathering will be a mix of service and fun on Friday, October 30 (5-8 PM), with helping to set-up for the Halloween Blood Drive and Trunk or Treat. After preparations, youth will have the opportunity to enjoy the Halloween festivities also.
