Patrick Burke Ordination

On Thursday, June 7, 2018, Patrick Timothy Burke was ordained a transitional deacon in the Episcopal Diocese of Indianapolis by the Rt. Rev. Jennifer Baskerville-Burrows. The service was held at Holy Family Episcopal Church in Fishers, IN. The Rev. Suzanne Wille gave the homily. A reception was held in Patrick’s honor following the service.

Pride 2018

On Saturday, June 9th, clergy and members of Holy Family Episcopal Church participated in the Indy Pride Festival Parade and Festival. The Rev. Cathy Scott (Deacon) and The Rev. Bruce W. Gray (Rector) marched with others from the Episcopal Diocese of Indianapolis led by The Rt. Rev. Jennifer Baskerville-Burrows, Bishop. Over 150 participants from the Diocese gathered for a prayer service and blessing before the parade. Following the parade, members of several Episcopal churches manned a booth at the festival, sharing God’s love and information about the inclusiveness of the Episcopal Church. Celebration of New Ministry

On Thursday, May 26th, Holy Family held a Celebration of New Ministry to install The Reverend Bruce W. Gray as rector at Holy Family. Following the service, a reception was held in the parish hall. View more photos from the celebration by clicking HERE.
Pentecost Celebration 2018

On Sunday, May 20th, Holy Family celebrated the Feast of Pentecost at its 8 and 10 AM services. Many congregation members wore the color red which is the liturgical color for the day. During the 10 AM service, Father Bruce recognized and blessed Sunday school teachers as well as Confirmation and Adult Forum leaders. Finally, Father Bruce recognized graduating senior Ethan Everett. Jeff Waddell and Carly Roth, also graduating seniors, were not able to attend this blessing. Following the service, congregation members and guests enjoyed a pitch-in picnic with entrees grilled by the Brotherhood of St. Andrew. Earth Day 2018

On Earth Day, April 22nd, Holy Family celebrated Earth Day in a variety of ways. During 9 AM Adult Forum, The Reverend Cathy Gray offered reflections on the holiday with those in attendance. Following the 10 AM service, everyone walked outdoors with Father Bruce to bless the Holy Family Community Garden plots as well as seeds and plants brought by worshipers. Finally, adults and children scattered native Indiana wildflower seeds along the treeline to enhance the outdoor chapel. It will be interesting to watch and see what Mother Nature provides! Easter Day 2018

Alleluia, the Lord risen! The Lord is risen indeed. Alleluia!
Al Holy Family we celebrated the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ with the joyous ringing of bells, festive songs, and celebration.

Maundy Thursday 2018

Following the Eucharist, the altar was stripped, washed, and reset on the side as the Altar of Repose. Our next Holy Week service is on Good Friday, March 30th, at 7 PM.
